v1.7.2 (2026-09-29)

Added

• Terminal AI conversations can be continued in the AI Console, which picks up the most recent conversation.
• The global AI now works with serial assets: list serial devices, open the port, read output, send input, and close it, with each serial operation shown in the conversation.
• SSH authentication banners are shown in real time (the connection continues after verification), and the fixed handshake timeout was removed.
• Quick connect can use a saved SSH credential instead of typing a password, and the X11 options in that dialog were restyled.
• SFTP has a new setting for how dropped folders are uploaded (normal upload or accelerated upload, chosen with a segmented control). Accelerated upload requires Pro and falls back to normal upload without a valid license.

Fixed

• Fixed AI streaming responses not retrying as configured after a disconnect, and polished the "AI is thinking…" status text.

Changed

• The AI auto-retry count is now 10 (10-second interval between retries, set to 0 to disable) with updated setting help.
• Reworked the AI prompts, and the default reply language now follows the language setting.
• Opening a file larger than 10 MB in the SFTP editor now asks for confirmation first.

• The built-in AI settings page can now add credits and refresh the balance, and defaults to the China mainland line.
• Split view and batch execution support multi-line command editing: expand the command editor, see the line count, run with Enter and add a line with Shift + Enter, and the command text is kept exactly as written.
• Added a "Sync now" button to cloud sync; it reuses the scheduled sync logic and refreshes both the status and the data.

v1.7.0 (2026-09-23)

Added

• Added SSH X11 forwarding, enabled per host or per temporary connection. The local display and xauth settings stay on this device and GUI windows are shown by the local X server; when X11 is unavailable SSH still connects and the terminal explains why. On Windows the local display defaults to 127.0.0.1:0.
• Added a configurable maximum execution round count in AI behavior settings (default 100, minimum 1).
• Bastion client compatibility. Termark can take over the connections a bastion host hands off to it: Xshell-style launch arguments (SSH/Telnet -url, bare addresses, -newtab names) and termark://connect?host=address&port=22&username=user links, with the client executable path configured in Settings. Vendor-specific bastion protocols, Xshell session files and named keys are not supported yet.
• Command history. View, search, run and clear the history file saved by the remote user, and keep individual commands as snippets. Works on Bash, Zsh and Fish.
• AI image input. Attach an image to an AI prompt, or paste one from the clipboard, with a preview before sending.
• termark shell <ASSET-ID> opens an interactive SSH shell on an asset from the command line, and keeps the remote terminal size in sync.
• Telnet can now be reached through an SSH jump-host chain or an HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy, and temporary Telnet connections can be opened from Xshell-style launch arguments.
• WSL terminal sidebar tools can run AI commands in the background and perform file operations.
• Added a Windows terminal Ctrl + V option: keep pasting from the Windows clipboard history, or send Ctrl + V to the terminal program (for example Vim block selection). Ctrl + Shift + V always pastes.
• Host detection recognizes Kylin, openKylin and 银河麒麟, with a dedicated icon.
• The terminal metrics bar now reports GPU utilization and VRAM on SSH and WSL hosts, and shows the host CPU model.

Fixed

• Fixed the local editor picker on Windows and Linux: it could only select directories and, on Windows, could not select an executable file; the editor window no longer stays hidden after launch.
• Fixed the public-key installation flow: key authentication support is checked before installing, and the host credential switches only after verification succeeds.
• Fixed session recordings that existed on disk but could not be replayed.

Changed

• Quick connect and public-key installation now share one host search list and the same selection interface.
• Switching a host to public-key authentication now asks for a second confirmation before the saved host password is cleared, and the change is uploaded to cloud sync.
• Termark no longer installs a downloaded update automatically when quitting; downloads still happen automatically, and you complete the update with "Restart Termark and install". The settings copy was updated to match.
• Opening a new tab now defaults to ⌘/Ctrl + T and a new window to ⌘/Ctrl + N (previously ⌘/Ctrl + N and ⌘ + Shift + N).
• Double-clicking a terminal tab now duplicates the session by default; the action can still be set back to renaming a tab in settings.
• Host terminal capability configuration was removed. Terminal capabilities are enabled by default and adjusted automatically for network devices and restricted shells, and restricted authorized assets may now use SFTP.
• Docker permission guidance can fill in the group authorization command for you.
• AI command approvals are remembered more precisely.
• Cloud sync now verifies the main file and attachment completeness the same way everywhere, caches the derived key, and checks attachments concurrently.
